Hi TEK,
I would say that there is not much of a problem, as you can see in the following images. Revision is something I can not guarantee but it should be fine. ![]() ![]() ![]() The layout is prettymuch the same with the Mobo, so if you are not using some special memory with big heatsinks, it will be not a big deal to use this setup. Greets, Andy

Thanks for your svift reply!
I agree, the cooler itself seems to fit. You have quite a different revision than me (pre 1.0?), but mine has more room, not less than yours, so it looks fine. The fan might cause an issue. My RAM module is elevated 36mm from the motherboard, 28mm from the CPU socket. As far as I can tell the fan will be directly above my RAM units. On the product photos the fan is lower down than the Ninja Mini cooler unit itself. Must the fan be monted that low? If so, what is the vertical distance between the bottom of the mounting plate and the bottom of the fan? (I have the motherboard right here so I can mesure to check if it will fit) Regards, TEK |

Hi,
I think it was Rev. 1.0, it came from gigabyte directly from their Sample stock, so I believe it is not a "pre-version" neither ES. RAM will fine I think. The fan can be shifted from bottom to top, the clips allow that. So in the end it is up to your PC Case and RAM how far the fan needs to go up. Andy

Hi,
It should be that I have a different version on the image. I had a few of the mobos and the layout was exactly the same, the cooler is the biggest issue with the P35-DS(xx) Series. And I tried to show you the cooling compatibility part. Greets, Andy

Hello,
i have a few Questions for the Scythe Ninja Cu SCNJ-CU1000 (Vollkupferversion) BHT 120 mm x 150 mm x 135 mm 1: Can I use the Ninja Cu with the following Mobos? ASUS Crosshair Mainboard K9A2 CF-F GIGABYTE GA-MA790FX-DS5 Sockel AM2+ MSI K9A Platinum (i know it is in the List, but nobody has test it...) 2: Can I fix the Ninja into the Case from Lian Li, Type A05-B, Maße: 210 x 381 x 490mm (BxHxT) 3: With Fan is in the Package with the Ninja? Is it the Scythe S-FLEX™ 12cm Gehäuselüfter SFF21D (800 U) 8,7 dBa, 1,2 W? 4: Can I use the Ninja fanless? I use a AMD X2 6000 EE with a Sapphire Radeon HD 3870, 512MB GDDR4 5: Is a Powersupply with 400 W enough for the System? Thank you for your help and a happy new Year. Greeting from Germany ueppig |

HI ueppig,
Here are the answers to your questions. 1. Ninja CU COmpatibility ASUS Crosshair should be OK, chance of 85% K9A2 CF-F should be fine, chance of 90% GA-MA790FX-DS5 might be a problem with the mounting clip MSI K9A Platinum looks really safe, I'd say 95% compatible 2. That's something I can never guarantee, sorry. 210mm should be fine, as long there is no fan in the side panel. 3. No, it is a Slip Stream 800RPM fan. 4. Theoretically you could use it. If you have a nice airflow inside the case, it will work fine, but that depends on how you manage your case airflow. 5. That's something really deep into the allround knowledge =P Yeah, if you have a 80PLUS PSU with not many HDDs and optical Drives, it should work basically. Happy New Year.
