Greetings,
I have a couple of questions connected with Scythe Andy Samurai Master and Scythe ********. -> Andy is compatible with Asus M2A-VM HDMI, does it mean that with no hdmi version of this motherboard too, right? And is it possible to mount it in both modes: with heatpipes on left and right? -> There are few MOBOs from Gigabyte already but mainly for LGA775 on list for Andy Samurai... but what about two models for AM2: Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S2H and S3H? I've found (from pictures) that those models have higher capacitors installed near AM2 socket than in ASUS M2A-VM.. does it mean I won't be able to install ASMaster with heat-pipes on the left side (mosfets)? And what if I'll install Andy on opposite side (ram) - I'll block two ram banks that way and forced to move them into other two and forget about future upgrade? -> the same questions are connected with ******** if there will be no way to place Andy on those Gigabytes .Thnx for all help and sorry for crap English. ![]() |

Ok last update for Gigabyte P35-DS3[R]
Mugen is mounted with his blower to the bottom. Ok thats not 100% perfect but, the temperatures are also very good. You cant position the mugen in an other position, because you cant use ram slot 1, and you need it. If you want Dualchannel you have to put a RAM in Slot 1 Now its even tight between Mugen and the RAM in Slot 1 but it fitsGreets from Germany Drachton Ah i forget a picture. You'll see here Mushkin HP2 in Slot 3 and 4, thats an old picture. Now they are in Slot 1+3, it works. Directupload.net - b75PvhoR.jpg So i would say Gigabyte P35-DS3[R] is yellow for Mugen, in fact of the position blower to the bottom |

The ******** fits on standard a standard Abit IP35-E (version 1.0). Success!

Hi everyone.
Time to respond to your questions. RealSucker: Sören, thanks for posting the pics. That kinda shows that there is no way to mount. I ordered a couple samples from Gigabyte, hope they can support me with these so I can test the compatibility. sraka: Asus M2A-VM HDMI and Andy Samurai Master and ******** would work, but only 2 ways, bent Heatpipes facing RAM or the ATX connectors(PS/2,USB..). There are no other options for socket AM2, sorry. Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S2H and S3H is same as above. It should be compatible, I don't see any issues. Andy Samurai Master would most likely fit both directions, but worst case you can face pipes to RAM. You should not really block 2 RAMs, maximum one, but if you put the RAM inside, I think it won't even get in touch with the Andy Samurai Master. PS: Your English is fine with me, no need to be sorry. Drachton: I updated the list but still as far as I know this is no problem, the RAM won't touch the Mugen cooler, even you use the slot 1, the cooler is way taller than the RAM. So mount memory first and then the cooler...Thanks for the info tough! I added some text to the compatibility. Bobsama: Thanks for confirming the compatibility. I thought it would be compatible, but confirmed info is way better. Thanks! busante: I mentioned it in the reply, there should be no problem with mounting it other ways. Thanks for the confirmation and the support. Greetings, Andy

Hello everyone.
GroundV7: The MSI P35 Platinum should be not compatible to Andy Samurai Master. Asus P5K-E looks already better. Did not test, but looks safe. nissep: Asus P5KC should be compatible to Mine and Ninja PLUS. The whole design of the Mobo looks safe and I don't see any compatibility issues. Greets, Andy
