Hi!

Sorry, I forgot to post a picture of the MSI 865PE Neo3 mainboard...
http://www.overclockers.ru/images/la...27/board-b.jpg

So does the Ninja PLUS Rev. B CPU Cooler fit this mainboard?

Thank you very much!

Hi everyone.

It's time to respond to compatibility questions as usual, he? There we go

digital_dude:
The MSI P6N SLI V2 is one on the difficut side. Ninja PLUS should be compatible because of the higher boards. Do you have the motherboard already? I need to know the heatsink height. Please measure and let me know or check this Ninja PLUS and Mugen CPU Cooler Dimensions.

Gadget:
The MSI 865PE Neo3 is a good one, nothing around the socket, not even capacitors. Unless the design was changes, all Scythe Coolers should be compatible.

xanthos:
So they have 2 versions of the heatsink. Can you take a pic of the Andy Samurai Master on the Gigabyte P35 DS4? I think it should be adjusted with the bent heatpipes side facing the RAM. I need to get pics from Japan, they are off this week...some sort of holliday.

Drachton:
The layout looks fine, the heatsink should have an acceptable distance. Do you have the Mobo already? Can you measure the height of the NB Cooler?
I'd say it's compatible like 90%.

qwerty:
Mine is one of the smaller coolers, I don't really see any problems with Gigabyte P35-DS3 and P35-DS3R. Both Mobos have a pretty small heatsink, no tall capacitors so I'd tend to 95% compatibility safety chance. I can never guarantee anything because all the Mobo manufacturers keep making me headaches with their revisions and always bigger getting cooling solutions...But yeah, it should be fine.

Greetings from Hamburg!
Andy

Hello Shinigami,

I sit in front of my new hardware and desparetely try to put the Andy Samurai Master on the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4.
The most annoying thing is that I have some scratches on one fin now.

I saw that your european headquarter is in Hamburg. I'm also from Hamburg and your colleagues from Japan are on holiday. So I have an serious offer for you: Let's join with my hardware somewhere and check the problem. If you are interested send me a short (german) E-Mail to the saved address.
I hope this will help to cool down our new cpus with your product.

Bye Sören

Shinigami:
Thank you for your reply. I've resently seen some people complaining about this problem. For example, here...
Some photos
It seems that some parts of the motherboard make the board incompatible with the cooler. But this are not my photos so I can't tell it for sure.
