add ASUS P5K Deluxe to the list. I recommend a taller mid tower case or one with the PSU at the bottom so it does not battle for space with the cooler.

LE: Ninja Plus rev.B

You mean on the list of compatible motherboards? With which cooler?

I have a P5K-E wifi/ap edition, and it was not easy to install the cpu cooler(********). After installation(you can't isntall ******** vertically, has to be horizontal), I received bad temperature results: idle temp is around 53°(core0), and stress 60°. So no overclocking...
Now I'm looking for another cooler that does work on that motherboard.
Too bad, waste of money

i'm confused! if the cooler is properly mounted, flip your case to a horizontal position, go to Bios->Hardware monitor and see if there is any change in the temperature readings. mean while take a look at this settings!
CPU-Z Validator Database
"you can't isntall ******** vertically" u should be reworded a world record prise if u can do it in a crowded mini tower case with no removable motherboard tray!!

I think I'll have to dismantle my pc and rebuilt it outside a case and take a simultaneous picture of it and the monitor so you can believe me.

I'm sorry if I insulted you in some way, but it seemed very strange to me that a CPU overclocked to more than 3 Ghz can be cooled down to about 25°C with an air-cooler.

I see that your MB temperature is very low, too; do you have special case-coolers, or is it possible that the ambient room temperature is rather low?

My room ambient temperature is [+/-] 2-3 deg. the temperature indicated by the sensors. My case is a moded Chieftec Mesh series case (Chieftec Mesh). The cooling is 100% air. To achieve low temperatures for the mobo, I installed a fan to blow air on the Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) area. Because the mobo temperature sensor is placed very close to that area, it indicates low temperatures. See ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-
for more details.
As you can see air cooling can be just as good as fluid cooling if u can master it. The secret lies in the design of the air flow and PWM controlled fans.
Good luck!
