Mine should be compatible, it belongs to the smaller heatsinks and I don't see any issues here. As usual maybe the nice capacitor's that are around the socket might be soldered higher than should be, toleranz as usual. Most cases this is not a problem.
Thanks, I will report here if it works

Sorry for the late post. Will take some time to post some pics. Just placed my ******** on my 915GEV board and its fit well while on my P5k deluxe its hard to keep in place (the push pins loosens don't know why but in my 915GEV board fits perfectly cools my P4 3ghz Prescott 48 idle 55~60 load) plus its really hard to get off cause the build in Heat pipe from asus are blocking the push pins(Really pain if you have large fingers )

Any technique or tricks in installing the ******** for the p5K would gladly appreciated Im just waiting for my quad to arrive.

Intel915GEV board - ok with scythe ******** fits perfectly

Which Quad model are you waiting for? And I didnt know the fins would be sharp Thanks for the warning

I am waiting for Q6700 to show up but it seems like its just not going to happen.. -_- All the other models to be launched on July 22nd are available everywhere (here in Sweden) apart from that one.. Really starting to get tired of this, considering that I have everything I need for my new computer at home now apart from the CPU and CPU fan...

Q6600 version. The only problem with the P5k deluxe is the built in Heatsinks its really hard to remove the CPU cooler cause they're huge and as i've said if you got big fingers/ hands its really hard to reach in. Fins might be sharp for aerodynamics i guess.

Ah alright.. I hopefully get my Q6700 today, also waiting for the Mine, if I get both of them today we will soon know if it works with P5K or not. I hope it does :P Will try to avoid cutting my fingers though, if I can.
