Important for the answer is the CPU you want to use!

cj_quest: The CPU is something you have to mention. if it is a Prescott, then forget about fanless below 90W it should be Ok to go for fanless. Mugen is not really dedicated to fanless, so Ninja would be a smarter choice for that purpose.

Indeed, I forgot to write that down. My cpu is 3.0 ghz Prescott indeed. Ok let's say, i won't be able to use it fanless, can you tell me what cooler fits on the mobo? Ninja or Mugen? i haven't seen any pictures with my mobo until now.

I wasn't able to use Ninja with a 3 Ghz Northwood (cooler than Prescott) in a rather warm environment. While testing full load with Orthos the system reset when reaching voer 70 degrees. I had to clock down the CPU to 2 Ghz and leave the case open - cooling those P4s can be challenging if you got higher room temps like me.

So I'd advise using Mugen, fanless will be hard. I have real doubts about this row of capacitors parallel to the ATX I/O shield near the CPU socket. I'm afraid that Mugen's base heatsink will collide with them!

We'll need someone from the Scythe staff to deny or acknowledge this - you'll have to wait until Monday for a final answer.

Bye Oli

Thank you very much. I'll wait for the final answer before I'll make my buying.

L.E.: I really need your go for my mobo to place an order for ninja or mugen a.s.a.p.
Thank you. In Romania, on online computer shops they say that ninja it is on it's end of line and also they have just a few on stock.

Ok, thanks for your update. Today I'll try Mugen and if it fits I'll make my buying. I'll upload some photos in case of success.
Ninja 2 is not yet available in Romania(perhaps you should do something about that )
