MSI P45 Platinum compatability?

Hello, I am thinking of buying a scythe mugen or scythe ninja plus. But i am wondering if it will fit my mobo: MSI P45 Platinum. I tried the search function but nothing came up because i cant search for "p45" (only 3 characters). On google i found this picture:


So i know it fits on the p35 platinum. But my question is, will it fit on the new p45 platinum:

Hi jurian,

I'm quite sure, that on of the heatpipes will block the Mugen. Sorry for that.

ok thx for reply, since i am really keen the cooler i ordered it anyway. ill post pics if it works out of the box. if not.. ill post the modifications it takes to make it work :P

Ok i tested it today. To my suprise it fits really well.. (in every direction)
I should note that you cant use 4 ram sticks with high coolers on them.

keeps my e8400 @ 40 degrees.

So how does the Mugen compare to the Ninja 2 in terms of size? Can anyone say if the Ninja 2 will also fit on the MSI P45 Platinum?

I put my mugen in with the long side vertical and i think them mugen's long side = ninja 2 side so i think it will fit.

when Mugen fits, Mugen 2 should fit as well.
