I believe the Socket 478 bracket will begin some millimeters higher than the rails of the retention kit so as the rails clear the capacitors the bracket should clear them too.

I've been testing Mugen and Ninja on P5K Deluxe and as all the P5K series boards are quite similar all the Ninjas (Rev B, Mini Ninja, Copper) should fit. No matter if using pushpins or retention kit.

Hi guys,

I'm really sure, that Ninja will fit - this is one of the coolers with the fewest compatibility issues.

Cheers,
Stefan

Would Scythe CU fit on Gigabyte P35 DS3R? It's not on the list. I'm afraid the North Bridge heatsink would block the Scythe Ninja CU.

In this thread you can see that Mugen should be compatible with DS3R, so Ninja CU shouldn't be a problem:
Best Scythe Cooler

I looked at a pic of DS3R - looks quite safe. I would have been much more concerned about Mugen as it's wider but as a staff member of Scythe believes that Mugen will fit on it I have little doubt concerning Ninja models.

Has bought Ninja Cu two weeks ago and has received a problem with installation today having bought Asus Rampage Formula.
