Looks safe, basically. But if you intend to switch to backplate mounting one day you might get problems (http://benchmarkreviews.com/images/r...rboard_PCB.jpg).

With the standard pushpins as delivered with Yasya this won't be a problem.

Thank you, I know that backplate can give problems because it shunts contacts on my mobo...
I meant if the dimension of the radiator will take place between heatsinks, rams and capacitors...

Yasya isn't as wide as Mugen 2 and you want to leave the RAM socket closest to the CPU socket empty anyway.

So as I said:
Quote:
Looks safe, basically.
If you really run into a collision between fan and RAM you can still mount the fan a bit higher on Yasya which will clear the necessary height for standard dimms anyway.

On Yasya the fan hangs approx. 5mm nearer to the mainboard PCB than on Mugen. And the fan on Mugen can hang above standard dimms when mounted in the standard position for the fan on the cooler.

Please acknowledge: The answer you get here is best guess. If you want a proof, you'll have to

a) test it
b) use a high-res drawing of the board and virtually place Yasya on it with the correct dimensions.

Based on best guess Yasya clears all components around the CPU socket. As for the chipset cooler in general: Nearly all Scythe coolers approx. clear the height of the ATX I/O panel which is about 30-40mm (didn't measure it). So if the chipset coolers do not stick out above the height of the ATX panel it should be safe - a high-res side view of the board can help in judging this.

And finally: this video shows how easily Mugen fits on the board. So i am not afraid concerning Yasya Using Google you can find multiple users using this combination of board and cooler (meaning P6X58D-E and Yasya).

Thank you for your answer, I already googled around, but fund no one with the same config... Anyway, I looked at the video and everything seems fine...
I'll go for it, then I'll post for compatibility!

Yasya fits perfectly on Asus P6X58D-E (and surely with P6X58D Premium)

Fits on EVGE X-58 FTW3 though installing the fan & clips is a bit of a hassle with big heatsink on the Mobo (east-west flow)

I own a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4 Mobo and 8gb Of Corsair Dominator RAM (all 4 slots are used) and I was wondering if Yasya would fit on my CPU without the fan touching the RAM next to it?

I have this same board and want to use the yasya - but I do have all slots filled with 4 gb Adata DDR3 - 1600G ram. Will the yasya fit... how higt can the ramsticks be? If not, are there any other pushpin Scythe coolers that will? Thank you - Tod

"yasya fits fine on a Asus P6t deluxe v2.
only if all slots of ram are used, and the closest to the 120mmfan of the cooler are higher than regular ramstrips it might be an issue."
