Default P5K-E WiFi-AP

Hi to all,
I just checked your compatibility list and I didn't find this MB so, I compare its design with the P5B one and they seems to be equal, the differences in the chipset cooling system shape and the RAM slot's position don't seem to create any problem respect the P5B motherboard (watching the pictures on the ASUS website).
I'm writing now because I would to buy this CPU cooler, and later on the new MB, but, now, a doubt rise...

When the MB is installed, the CPU socket is on the top, in my Chieftec case mod. CA-01B-B-SL (Uni full tower chassis) the top frame, where the power supply is installed, will not interfere with this CPU cooler?

I'm asking because I would to void to buy it and then it can't be installed due to this.
Maybe should be helpful to know how many millimiters (or centimiters, as you prefer) the cooler extend starting from the center of the CPU contact surface up to the top

I hope also to wrote in the correct forum section

Tks in advance

Hi!

Giving advices regarding chassis is something difficult. Checking the image, it looks like you have to detach the fans from the side panel.
The total dimensions should be just divided by 2, that makes 70mm & 60mm.
Mounting the cooler on the Kama Cross on P5K-E WiFi-AP shouldn't be a problem and I don't see any real issues with the Chassis.
