Windows doesn't recognize my Hard Disk

In some cases it is not possible to access the drive which is connected to the Kama Connect. There could be a few different reasons why this problem apprears. The following explanations and solutions should help you solving such a problem.

1. Dynamic Partition
Windows is recommending to format the Hard Drive using the "Dynamic" partitioning. After this was done it is not possible to just integrate the Hard Drive in anyother PC. It is recommended to format the Drive using NTFS or FAT32.

2. Drive Letter
Windows sometimes is not applying a drive letter to the mounted Hard Disk's Partitions. This is the reason you can not see the Partitions/Drives inside the Explorer.

3. Partition/Format
New hard drives are usually not partitioned and need to be formatted to NTFS or FAT32 (Windows) first. Please be careful to not format a wrong hard disk or do any mistakes while formatting.

What are the differences between Kama Connect 1 and 2?
