Default Kama amp 2000 for 4 Amp Kro Craft Mini?

good evening everyone,

I am carrying out a cable radio system in my house, with 6 pairs of kro craft mini & related kama Amp.

in the living room (to the main area) I will have will have a kama amp 3000 + Kro Craft Speaker Rev.B...
but for the entrance area I would like to couple the 2 kro craft mini on the same line of 2 kro craft covering the kitchen.
so can I use a kama amp 2000 with 4 pairs of kro craft mini?
if yes, in series or parallel connection?

thanks
greetings

max -Italy-

All the Kro Craft Speakers have 8 ohm impedance, which is ok for the amplifier, so you can paralel and series connection, but with series connection the volume will be lower. I would recommend paralel connection.

With "4 pairs cro craft mini" you mean 8 speakers? If so, see the following drawing. It would be the optimal variant for the amplifier and sound quality.

thanks for your answer.
I'm sorry for the mistake,
I meant 2 pairs of kro craft mini on kama amp 2000

thanks

Two pairs would be possible to connect in parallel as well as in the series.
The series connection makes high impedace and it is better for the amplifier.

thanks for reply Sansay

if I use parallel connection, I would have 4 ohm
if I use series connection, I would have 16 ohm

you recommendations to me the series, and then in series the resistance is doubled, and therefore the volume decreases 50% on single kro craft...correct?

in this way the output current remains the same and the kama amp 2000 does not go into stress
do you recomend me to hold the amplifier at maximum volume safety?

thanks

For the amplifier to work more safely with 16 Ohm (series connection) so more resistance (impedance) means less strain, the disadvantage of this - will be less volume on speakers.
With less impedance (4 ohms parallel) means more burden for amplifier electronics, but in the end the speaker do more volume, so it will be not should consult full volume permanently.

You can try to test both versions in parallel and series connection, and then opt for a variant that you like.
