Hiya,
I'm trying to fit the Kama Angle onto my new Am3 mb ( MSI 790GX-G65 AMD 790GX) and the supplied mounting bracket is too big. The Scythe site says this product is Am3 compatible - is there a special bracket I need? The heatsink / fan supplied witht he processsor (Phenom II x4) fits perfectly. Anyone know? Ta... Hello Moggy,
from the technical point of view the mounting brackets of AM3 and AM2/AM2+ are identical - so actually they should fit without any problems. Could you please send me a picture showing this issue? Cheers, Stefan - Scythe EU Hamburg

Hello Moggy,
if you do it like you do in the Video it will not work. The clips are not too big, but there mounting or working is a little bit different. If you install the clip on your cooler and later on your mainboard you have to fit the notch on one side than on the other side: i did a picture for you. 1: ![]() 2: ![]() I hope this can help you a little bit?
