scythe is too big !!!!!!!!

I bought Scythe Ita Kaze SCIT-1000 and it is too big. HDD + Scythe Ita Kaze SCIT-1000 have got about 4 cm height and my pocket in Antec casing has got about 3.5 cm. Your product is TOO BIG !!!!!!!!

actually, our product has been optimized for most of the cases which are available on the market. There are three ways to solve your problem:
1. Modify your case
2. Use a 5,25-bay with a 5,25->3,5"-adaptor
3. Give the Ita Kaze back.

Btw: There is no reason why you could tell that we "cheated" you - the Ita Kaze is as small as it can be due to technical reasons.

Please refrain from starting lots of new threads with the same topic.

Yours product has got many faults:

1. Fan is too slow !!!!

2. You should cut 0.5 - 1 cm radiator on two sides, you should leave only places with holes to screw it to HDD.

3. Yours Ita Kaze covers only 80 - 85 % my HDD !!!!!!

4. Second pair of holes in Ita Caze to screw to casing is too close first pair of holes. In my casing I don't have holes in this place of casing to screw it to casing !!


Yours product has got many mistakes !!!!!! You CHEATED ME !!!!!!! I don't want yours Ita Kaze - you can't produce stupid FAN with radiator !!! I want my money back !!

lolek, you are complaining about the Ita Kaze not fitting your case. Well that's the risk with every add-on you're buying for your PC! You have to check and test for yourself.

Scythe's biggest CPU coolers are also not fitting on many mainboards or cases. No one would think of putting a Mugen in a slim HTPC case. Every customer has to check for himself if the product fits in his setup. Scythe does not guarantee for any combination. That's absolutely NORMAL. Or you have to make a deal with you local retailer that you can return the item if it doesn't fit. But that is not Scythe's business!

You are also complainig about fan speed and so on - you can read this technical data IN ADVANCE BEFORE buying the product. Absolutely no sense in complaining about it afterwards.

All in all Scythe can't (and shouldn't help) you with this - you can chat with your retailer if he can offer you any solution but as far as i can see the manufacturer is not responsible if a certain part doesn't fit in your certain setup. That's a risk that's inherent in life i'm afraid.

If you want your money back ask your retailer. And Scythe will probably think about your proposals for improving Ita Kaze but you cannot seriously think of Scythe giving you your money back when you didn't check in advance if the product fits your setup. And if you need to buy it to check it then you have to make the deal i already mentioned with your retailer.

In Germany you can send all items back that don't please you within two weeks. If this is handled otherwise in your country then it is a case for the politicians to change the legal situation and make it more customer friendly.
