Default News about the new Scythe NINJA VGA cooler

Hello , I have a suggestion about the new NINJA VGA cooler , I think is better to leave about 4mm between the fins to allow the possibility to use this VGA cooler fanless , if the fins are very close together ( only 2mm separation ) is not possible to use fanless , thank you

Hello tonschk,

Ninja VGA Cooler was a handmade prototype sample on CeBIT so there are no specs or compatibilites known at the moment.

Why do you think that it is not possible to use the cooler fanless when there is only 2 mm space between the fins?

Cheers,

I think the Accelero S1 rev2 is Fantastic ,note the distance between the fins of this VGA cooler , I have this accelero S1 rev2 attached Fanless to my video card 8800GT ( room temp 28c ) , this VGA cooler Fanless is able to keep my 8800GT idle at 36-38c ( with good airflow inside the case )

I will buy immediately the new Ninja VGA cooler if this new cooler have have six heatpipes but please keep enought distance between the fins

Hello tonschk,

thanks again for your feedback, actually I don't know how far the development process of Ninja VGA is, so I can't tell you if we are able to test or if it was already tested how the fin-distance has an influence in the temperature. I'm really sure that our engineers worked with different distances and tested, but I will forward these info to them!

Cheers,

Hi,

it's too early to say a fixed date, but maybe it will come on 2009.

Cheers Chris

Is the Ninja VGA-Cooler still being worked on?

If yes, the result will be 3 Scythe VGA-Cooler, the Musashi, the Setsugen and the Ninja.

Yes, of course.

The result will be 4 coolers: Musashi, "Big Musashi", Setsugen, "Ninja Fanless".

Cheers Chris
