Default S-Flex S-FDB 140mm Fan

Please give consideration to an SFF series 140mm fan in 1800+ rpm.

The sleeve bearing model DFS132512L that comes with the Zipang is insufficient and not up to the same quality as the Zipang cooler itself. The 1800 rpm fan would properly cool VRM components, which the current fan does not do properly.

If required, the new 1800 rpm fan could be throttled back with any of the readily available fan controls, a resistor pack, or a Zener diode.

Hi,

An S-FDB Model of 140mm fans is not planned yet. The market has to develop and it also takes time to get the fan ready, due to some restrictions which are basically connected to the market. We will release some 140mm fans very soon, stay tuned

Hi,

we got a delay there. Unfortunately I can only get you some info around 2 weeks before launch, sorry about that. It will take around 1-2 months is my assumption so far.

just a push because i think Scythe S-Flex 140mm fans would be really great

I am wondering why there are only a few 140 mm fans on the market, since more and more cases can use 140mm fans.

Hello Hofman,

Wellcome to Scythe Forum.

More and more cases support these 140 mm fans, but the mainstream uses 120 mm. If the case market grow in this way, that they use more and more 140 mm fans, also in mainstream cases, than it would be potential idee. But before, our Kaze Maru 140 mm Series is a good alternative solution.

Kind regards
Chris
