Default Fan clips 38mm?

You can buy now easy the new Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm fan's!

But in no shop i find Fan clips for these new fan's who are 38mm thick?
When i buy the Scynthe ******** cooler their where two fan clips included for a 25mm fan(120x120x25mm).
So why no fan clips included with these new fan's or where i can get them?

Thanks for your help!
Jean-Paul.

In this thread
Ultra Kaze

Shinigami posted pictures on how to modify the 25mm clips to fit the 38mm coolers. Pictures should be self-explaining - bend your clips the way they are in the pictures and it should work (bending on your won risk! )

Obviously clips for the 38mm cannot be in packages of actual Scythe heatsinks. The coolers were released recently and many products are delivered with stock 25mm fans. So there are clips for these fans in the packages. Not to forget that many packages are already waiting at dealers and distributors and had been produced months before the 38mm fans were even released.

Bye Oliver

Hi,

I agree on what Oliver said. The clips can be easily made by some small modification. There will be a special clip for the 38mm fans, but that will take some time. Thanks for your understanding.

Greetings,
Andy
