Grand Kama Cross Retention - Bolt through?

I'm interested in the GKC but I'm a little concerned about the push-pin retention method. I would rather not have 750g hanging off the motherboard without the use of a backplate. Is the mugen2 backplate compatible? And can it be bought seperately like the 775 universal backplate can? This is for a 1156 motherboard btw so I can't use the 775 backplate.

Otherwise, is there any other 3rd party or non-official bolt-through mounts known to work with the GKC?
