Default kaze server & PWM Lüfter semi mode

Hallo.

I hte to ressurect an old thread, but i'm unable to start a new thread and thi eemed the most relevant. I've been having problems with a new kaze server.

I recently purchased a kaze server, ks01-bk, but didn't have the opportunity to install it until yesterday. It was a brand new product at the time of purchase, with all packaging intact. I installed the device in a new pc. On power up the fans start (albeit at slower than normal rpm i think). however, the display itself does not light up. Through guesswork, i can make the fans turn on and off and sometimes adjust speed by manipulating the knobs. I have double checked all connections and everything seems fine. The c/f jumper is set to celsius and the speaker jumper is on. power is connected and must be working otherwise the fans wouldn't work. Four compatable 3-pin fans are connected. Temperture probes are connected. There is no apparent damage to the device. But the display won't turn on.

Any help is appreciated

hello,
The device has 2 year warranty.
You can return the unit to the seller.

Default A question

Sorry, "New thread" button doesn't work for me either...

So questions is:

My new Kaze Server can only operate existent case fans (90mm Titans 1100rpm) in semi-auto or manual modes. I'm interested in auto mode to make them completely stop under some temperature. However Kaze Server cannot spin them up after full stop when temperature riced above threshold. Zero rpm flashes for a while and then it seems it giving up and consider fan broken. Fans itself can run down to aprox 400 rpm and then stop in case futher voltage decrease.

Can you suggest what Scythe fans I could buy as replacement (ideally about 1000rpm and lowest noise level) to make sure they will be working in auto mode without such issue? or maybe some hint on what fan characteristics it depends when Kaze Server operates fine in auto mode like fan size or normal fan speed or whatever?

TNX!

Hi Pasha

You can in the semi (not auto) start and stop under some temperature.
What size fan do you want?
Such are the optimal case fans.
