Default Kama Panel 2 and Micro SD

Hi,

I have a problem with my Kama Panel 2. I insert an Micro SD card into the card reader, the LED goes from green to red to indicate the card is in. However the card is not recognized by the OS. When I put the Micro SD card into the adapter and insert it into the SD slot the card is recognized by the OS and I can use it. So my guess is that not the Micro SD card is the problem but the Micro SD slot.

Any ideas why the Micro SD slot does not accept my Micro SD card? Btw, I'm using Windows XP Pro as OS.

Thanks

Hello carlton681ao,

do you have another MicroSD Card to test if the card is defective?

Hi Stefan,

unfortunately I do not have another MicroSD card. What I do have is an adapter for the MicroSD card so I can use it as an 'normal' SD card. As normal SD card it is recognized and usable by several digital cameras and two card readers, including the Kama Panel 2.
I'll try and get a different MicroSD card, but don't expect anything other than with my current card.

Hello carlton681ao,

if you could find another microSD this would be very helpful.
Actually your descriptiont that the Card gets detected when using and adapter sounds really like as if there is something defective within your Panel - I would suggest you to do RMA over your reseller.
