Default Scythe Kaze Server Display

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I have a Scythe Kaze Server 5.25 installed.
Everything is working fine and controls everything as it should.
The only problem I am having is, the display is very dim and not bright at all.
It is displaying everything ok, but even at night, I have to look at the display straight on to see it, it is'nt very bright at all.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Wingman,

The display (digits) has, unfortunately, dark lighting. This is not defective.

Thanks for your reply Sansay. I appreciate what your saying, but this is very dim.
I've looked at other pics of the Scythe Kaze Server 5.25, and vids on youtube, and the others are very bright, atleast bright enough to read.

I can not understand why it does not look like this one, this picture belongs to JaccoW in another post. You can clearly see the difference in his and mine !!!

Hi Wingman,
Yes, obviously, their device was defective lighting.
contact the dealer, if still under warranty, you can replace the Kaze Server.

Thanks for your reply Sansay. Unfortunately, I bought it from Ebay March 2011, the seller is no longer a registered member, just my luck.

I do need another fan controller, but I've read good and bad about other different makes/models. I think the Skythe Kaze controllers along with the Lamptron FC5 v2 look and perform the best. I just wish I could get mine to brighten up in order to see it, that would save me £35/£40.

I have had the meter on mine, and the power to the display is only 3 volts, not sure if this is normal or under powered ?
any help/info on this would be appreciated.
