I recently purchased the Kaze Master Pro 3.5" unit, I have attached to fans (soon 2 be 4) and one (1) temperature sensor to it.
The temperature sensor is stickied to the bottom of my Mugen 2 Rev.B CPU cooler (with the Socker AM2 legs) but not attached to the legs but the actual part that touches the cpu (on the side of it). My Kaze Master unit is set to Celsius, when Idle, or under normal work the temperature is off by 2-5 degrees from the CPU own sensor according to a number of softwares but when playing a game the temperature according to the CPU own sensor can get to 20 degrees higher than the on on my kaze master display, approximately. For examples: Idle: AIDA64 shows 35-39 KAZE MASTER shows 37-42 Normal Work (Internet, flash games): AIDA64 shows 41-47 KAZE MASTER shows 39-45 Gaming (Like Duke Nukem Forever) AIDA64 & GURU3D's ATI Tray Tools Shows around 70-72 KAZE Master shows around 56 As you can see, it's fluctuating, at times it's a litte above what software shows directly from the CPU sensor and at times higher, at least durring idle & normal usage. When using games it always however much lower on th kaze master, just like in the above example. Any idea why & what can be done about it? |

OK, I replaced my entire computer case because of some overheating issues, thing is, new case don't have a place to install the Kaze Master Pro 3.5" so I won't be using it after all, I'll probably sell it, although I used all the temperature sensors yellow stickers up but I guess those heat resistant stickers can be purchased at many electronic shops.
Bottom line is, no help is needed anymore. |
