KAMA Meter volume problems

I recently installed the KAMA METER, but when I use the volume control, the meter jumps back and forth from -30 dB to 0 dB and is always settling @ -30 dB. The sound actually changes volume, but not very much.

Any ideas what the problems could be?

Did you connect everything propperly? Should work actually.
