Hello,
I brought Kaze Master 3.5". Also I've 4 Fans... 3 pieces - 12V - 0.3A - 3Pin connection 500-1500 RPM -80mm 1 piece - 12V - 0.27A 3Pin 1200RPM -120mm I connect the to standard molex plug from the Power Supply Unit... (+12 gnd gnd +5v) And when i turn the knob 2,3,4 ( 80mm fans ) they start ...but when I turn the knobs to their max position the fans always have about 500-600RPM...they cannot get the max speed. What could be the reason of that? Is it something wrong connected? 120mm fan works at about 1160 so it is OK.. but i think it cannot slow down...to 800 or something when i try to turn the knob to Off position ( i mean lowering the speed -- counterclockwise) thanks for suggestions crk Last edited by crk; 09-17-2010 at 07:39 AM. |

Hello,
I think the problem is that your fans need to much power for a single channel, try to connect one of the 80mm fans to the other channel and try then turning them on max. The maximum per channel is 1A, your three fans need 0.9A and maybe more(because of the resistance in the cables, or simply wrong measured maximum Ampere of the fans etc.)

Hmmm ok, do you have connected it directly to the PSU or is it connected "between" other hardware. Try to connect it on a single connector.
Maybe the unit is simply broken, if it still runs only on low RPM. Try to send it back where you bought it and get an exchange. If it still doesn't help, I would recommend you to contact the company of the fans, maybe they can help you.
