Default Kaze Server with 3 Ultra Kaze 3000rpm

Hi,

My "New" (Open box from newegg, but was just like new in the original packaging upon arrival) Kaze Server is working okay for the most part. However there have been two bugs,

I have three Ultra Kazes and one 140mm 1000rpm fan running on the controller right now, when all three Ultra Kazes spin up to around 3000rpm the 140mm fan looses voltage and stalls out with the appropriate beep alarm. It doesn't matter what mode the fans are in and it does not just happen at start up but also when all the fans are spinning nicely at 1000rpm before I ramp up the Ultra Kazes.

When there is no temperature sensor connected to the fourth channel it will randomly set off the alarm and display 199C for a few seconds. This happens about once every half hour and was quickly fixed by plugging in a sensor even though I'm not using it right now.

I can easily fix the fan failure problem by moving the 140mm fan to the open fourth channel of my Kaze Master Ace but it doesn't change the fact that I can not use all four channels on the Kaze Server. True the Ultra Kazes are beasts of fans, but they are 12V fans on 12V channels and I doubt the 140mm is using all 12V that should supposedly be there for it regardless of the other three channels load.

Has this been happening to any one else or is it just me on a possible RMA unit? I swear it looked like it had never been used before.

Auto and Semi modes are working like a dream other than that, although in future revisions I would allow the rpm to be set independently of actually changing the fans speed while setting up semi mode. Also, I would not have the fans come on at max voltage/rpm before dropping to the correct levels on start up and I would include a ceiling rpm function in semi mode to go along with the existing floor rpm setting.
