Default Asus P4S800
Guten Morgen,
ich suche einen geeigneten Kühler mit 3-PIN-Lüfter für das MB Asus P4S800. Beschäftigt ist ein nicht gerade kühl bleibender P4 3.2 Ghz Prescott (ja, ich weiß - nicht gerade aktuell - für die Verwedungszwecke vollkommend ausreichend ).

Ich habe nicht allzuviel Erfahrung mit den Kühlern, sollte halt nicht schon im Leerlauf ins Schwitzen kommen.

Die Prescott und Northwood P4s werden sehr heiß, hohe TDP. Katana und Co solltest du ausschließen.

Ich empfehle den Mugen 2.

Leider haben alle neueren, guten Kühler keione Sockel 478-Clips mehr (Yasya, Rasetsu etc.).

Den Grand Kama Cross, falls es ein Top-Blower sein soll.

Ich habe mich für den Mugen 2 Rev.B entschieden (hat auch einen 3Pin-Lüfter).
Lt. Beschreibung ist eine Halterung passend für 478er dabei? Wenn icht - wo bekomm ich dann eine her? Ohne nutzt mir der auch nichts...

arrrrrggg..ist doch "nur" ein Kühler...

Was dabei steht ist auch dabei. Der Mugen 2 hat eh sein eigenes System mit Backplate. Den Mugen habe ich doch empfohlen gerade weil der eben noch 478 unterstützt.

Und der hat 4-pin PWM als Anschluss. Sobald du ihn mit einem 3-pin Adapter direkt ans Netzteil anschließt, läuft der immer "volle Pulle"! Praktisch alle aktuellen Kühler von Scythe haben PWM.
