Hi Dan,

welcome
I just checked a couple pictures of the mentioned case. The mounting mechanism is based on plastic. There is no way to use the "rails"? There is a chance that you can remove the plastic rail mechanism and sccrew by using the holes inside the case but I can only assume because I don't have the case around. Can you check this?

PS: Rukia rox >_<

i can't remove them.

i posted at another site with the question (before i knew about your forum) and this is what someone did to fit it in an Antec p180:

i didn't get it very much and i don't think it will work in my case.

(ps - this scene was great! the entire arc from there was cool! )

The mounting mechanism is usally made out of plastic and attached to the case, means you can also remove it. I tried it before and it worked, I think it should work with the Gigabyte as well. Maybe you can also make as in the picture you posted.

(PS: Best episodes were 1-25, they recently have too many filler )

you mean the Kama bay can be removed? (my case rails can't, they are secured with round nits)

(ep 1-25 was before they went to SS? the story came back on track in 138)

No. I mean that you need to remove the rails, but since you just reported that this is not possible, I'd tend to go a different way. There is no way to attached this mechanism rails to the Kama Bay like on the pictures.

(yep, I meant the story before SoulSociety with ep 1-25, the story is recently back, but before it was too much just fillers...)

Hi,

It is a bit difficult as you can expect. The mechanism is not really a standard and everyone is doing something else. I can't really tell what is the best way because it is a special case. What I would recommend is to attach the "slide-in" part to kama Bay somehow, but I can't come up with a good idea right now. Can you post pics of the whole mechanism?

it's annoying there isn't any standard.

this is a pic of the outer rail:

this is how the compartment looks from inside:

what do you get from this?

Dan, if you push forward the rails in the correct way the plastic mechanism seems to reveal screwholes:

Could you use those for installing Kama Bay?!? Only the ones towards the front of your case of course.

Bye Oliver
