Andy,

I'm running Vista x64. I tried installing the "Media Identification for Floppy-Card Reader Combo (YD-8V08)" utility, but it seemed to have no affect. (My media card icons appear just as they did prior to my installing the utility)

Is this utility x64 compatible?

If not, is there any chance we could get an x64 compatible version built?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Dale

Default Success :)

If I install the media identification utility prior to installing my nVidia chipset/motherboard and display drivers, it works. Thanks a Million!

is there a program that i can run for all the drives to show up in vista 64, coz ones been listed just show my drive as A only. Unlike the last poster i dont want to be starting from scratch uninstaling everything just to get the combo drives to work.

Well, we it basically should work. It might be a conflict with something. State your system information please. We will try again on our side again.

Cheers

In your screenshot there is no Floppy drive present.
I have Vista 64bit installed, the card readers work but the floppy drive doesn't.
I have connected the FDD cable to my motherboard the correct way around and used the BIOS to select 1.44 floppy drive but when I boot my PC it freezes at "Detecting IDE drives".
The LED works for the card readers but when inserting a floppy it doesn't.

Please can you help me?

Hello pLUSpISTOL,

that's really strange. Could you please try to exchange the Cables first (Floppy-Cable + Power-Cable) to make sure, that this is not a issue of the cables but maybe of the device?

Cheers,
