Cool Same error

I installed the reader last night and got an error USB device not recognized. However, first my webcam was out, somehow I got it back online. But now i cannot connect my USB stick with all my passwords on it.
I have one device in error.
OS: Win 7 Home Premium
CPU: I7 860
mobo: GA-P55-UD4

--- Edit ---
I found out the following:
My mobo has 2 hubs of 8 USB2 ports. I need to connect the cardreader to 1 hub that includes all my front side ports. I've done that, but every device I now connect to the same hub ends up in error 43 Unknown Device.
So seems a driver/hardware problem for the card reader. Since I lost 7 extra USB ports for 1 card reader, I desperately need some assistance (or throw away the card reader)

This seems to be a problem of the Gigabyte mainboard. Same here with a TakeMS 64-in-1 Card Reader which is plugged into the internal USB port of Gigabyte P55A-UD3. This card reader also offers a USB connector for sticks etc. - as soon as I plug in a device Vista shows that it found device it cannot recognize.

The same card reader installed on a Asus P7P55D worked perfectly concerning the supplied external USB port.
