Converting-Kit 5,25'' to 3,5'' for YD-8V08

Hallo,

i'm looking for a Converting-Kit 5,25'' to 3,5'' for my YD-8V08. I have bought a Kit from Lian Li (MF 515-B), but the Eject-Button from the Floppydrive was hidden from the Converting-Kits Front-Panel.

Any suggestions?

that's not right!!! I've bought this Converting-Kit, but the Eject-Button of the Floppy was hidden by the front-Panel of this Kit.

puhh, looks strange. our panel based on normal floppy drive dimensions, so normally it should fit. maybe you can also try this:

ALTERNATE - HARDWARE - Gehäuse - Zubehör - Einbaurahmen

I've tested this Kit, too (Conrad - Art.Nr. Artikel-Nr.: 998630 - 62) - the same thing just like Alternate.

The spezifikation of the YD-8V08 seems to be OK.

Did you hear about a converting-kit, where I can make the installation from the front through the 3,5'' hole.

My german comment for this product in the ratings of the vendor Alternate (www.alternate.de):

Laufwerk entspricht nicht den Standards für 3,5'' Laufwerken und passt nicht in die meisten Converting-Kits 5,25'' nach 3,5'', da der Floppy-Auswurfknopf am oberen rechten Rand gelegt wurde. Die meisten Converting-Kits überdecken dann den Auswurf-Knopf. Habe das Problem an Alternate gemeldet (Ticket#: 103677938), die es zur Prüfung an das Qualitätsmanagement weitergeleitet haben. Auch das von Alternate vorgeschlagene Lian Li MF-515B funktioniert nicht mit dem Laufwerk. Glatter Fehlkauf!

warum nicht gleich auf Deutsch.

der Floppy Card Reader entspricht den Standards, sonnst könnte man ihn nicht in Gehäuse einbauen, aber aus irgendeinem Grund scheint er auf den Converter Kits Probleme zu haben. Wir werden uns dem auch einmal annehmen.
