Default Scythe ChouRiki PSU

Hello , can you tell me please if the Scythe ChouRiki PSU have the fan in the middle of the PSU case or closer to the side of the case , I think is better with the fan in the middle because in this way the fan can cool the PSU evenly ,

Can you tell me please which fan model have inside this Scythe PSU and how much efficient is ? , thank you

Scythe ChouRiki

Hi tonschk,

Thanks for your inquiry. The Chouriki PSU will have a different package that the Japanese version, so please stay tuned until it will be supplied.

I'll supply you some information about it in advance though, even it was not planned. The fan location depends on the version which depends on the wattage. Only the 850 and 1000W version has the fan in the middle, because the PSU is longer than the others. The fan is a Kama FLEX with S-FDB bearing PLUS 80 is supplied

Cheers,
Shinigami

Hi there,

It all depends on the sample. There is the so called _tolerance_ and we can never guarantee that the voltage we provide is accurate for your purchased sample. The minimum voltage is said to be 11v but it should be also possible to go for 5v, all depends on the tolerance there, because generally 7v should be the minimum as far as i remember. We will have check there, but once again, please consider the tolerance factor.

Hi tonschk,

The Chouriki does not have the Kaze Maru 140mm inside. This is something I can tell you for sure. My assumption is, that the person meant a different PSU which we sell in Japan only.

Regards,
Andy
