Compatibility Scythe Andy Samurai Master Gigabyte K8NF-9 (Rev. 1.1)

does anybody know if the Scythe Andy Samurai Master fits onto my Gigabyte K8NF-9 Rev 1.1 mainboard (Socket 939)? All four memory banks are used.

Hi and welcome cunhell.

Based on what I can see in product images of the mentioned Motherboard, Andy Samurai Master will not fit. The capacitors are too tall and if you use all 4 RAM blocks, there is no way to mount Andy Samurai Master. Sorry about that, but technically the chance of compatibility is 10%.

thanks for Your quick reply. That is what I thought, too. But i was not sure about it.
So that's one more "red" entry in the compatibility list for the Scythe Andy Samurai Master
