Unhappy

Hello Friend, Thanks for taking the time to write up a comment, although my rant continues, no offence..

I have a quote from Scorptec who state the ETA is the 22/02/10.

But still cannot understand the massive markup, WTF is wrong with Australian Business? Seriously..pls dont give me the bleeding heart story or running a business - ebay has it for $40 US

To give u an idea the price from Scorptec is as follows as per my order request

1 XScythe - SC-SCBSK-1000 Scythe Big Shuriken CPU Cooler ETA 22/02/10 $75.00

1 XScythe - SC-SY1425SL12M Scythe 140mm Kaze Maru 1200RPM Fan1-3 days $29.00

When comparing the fan price from Scythe US website, it's shown as 19.99USD compared to 29AUD - somewhat reasonable, but when comparing the HSF from newegg it's 39.99USD compared to 75AUD.

Do I have to go through the maths? freaking down right robbery. Using the currency @ 0.88 for 1AUD

Fan 19.99 USD = 22.5265 AUD
HSF 39.99 USD = 45.0642 AUD

Lets say cost of shipping from USA or EU around $20USD
20.00 USD = 22.5378 AUD

Total = 90.1285

Compared to Scorptec of $117.00 incl $13 to ship

Difference - $26.8 nice little margin

I honestly do not think your business could do this cheaper than scorptec, but I am hopeful I will get one of these HSF to try as I still do not know if it will suite my motherboard and will not hit any of the components in my design, hence my caution in not jumping in and buying.

I realise that by these comments, no one will be wanting to sell me one, LOL

seems I will need to wait until these get flooded to ebay and grab a bargin

Kind Regards,
