I have the same issue. If the CPU is stressed up to +70% the CPU-temp rises to 80 or something. Then the Shuriken heats up and the fan slows down. Even stops and runs between 0 and 450 RPM. Way too slow. It starts mowning also. Then the CPU-temp goes up to above 100 degree's and the system shuts down. What can be the problem here? It sounds like a bearing is not 100% any more and when it get's too hot, it has too much friction, and heats up even more... Then the motor can't power the fan anymore... something like that. Any idea's ? In my opinion, it is broke...
