(maybe not a question for this forum but related to CPU cooling)
I have i7940 and run the OCCT tests. Because I'm new to OC I wonder where in witch test they go to 88C and your processor is not harmed when going to 92C?
What temp program are You using? The prime95 temp reader?
I OC to3.84GHz and when getting 75C I stop, this in OCCT. PC Probe show 65C but I dont trust it. rely on the highest. Termaltemp for i7 what I read in Intel specs is 67.9C.
