Default Dead fan

Hello there...
This is somewhat a comeback, but the news are not all good.

So let start with the good part:
I (hardly) mounted the universal kit for my Ninja 2, allowing the radiator not to move away and making the stats much more comfortable than with the push pins:
According to "CPUID Hardware Monitor" my processor is staying at a constant 29°C - 30°C on idle (9°C more than room temperature) and thus, fanless !

The bad news, maybe you already got it, is that I am running fanless as the spare SY1225SL12LM fan you send me last year is already coming to a dead end.

Here are the symptoms: The fan is rotating very slowly, sometimes not even able to start by itself and with quite much vibrations. I suspect the bearing part to go for a bye-bye.

The other bad news (for me, not for you) is that I bought my Ninja2 on 17th October 2008 with a one year warranty and we are today the 24th October 2009.

Am I still entitled for a RMA procedure despites the 7 extra days ?

Regards,
Kwak
