Hi,
I bought this cooler yesterday and can fully confirm this. I can not mount the cooler with the heatpipes pointing to the ram because of extended/universal clip (775 & 1366) that is touching one capacitor and gpu heatsink.
And i dont think that 775 stabilizer can help here, i doesnt come with 775 clip.
Anyway my big shuriken is already mounted with thermalright bolt thru kit ( i hate pushpins):
