bending of a Motherboard nowadays can only be hardly avoided. When you mount it into a case the bending is already reduced. But basically you need a backplate to keep the Mobo straight. It won't hurt the mobo for sure, I tried sooo many and none of them ever died or broke. Even stock cooler is bending the Mobos, so it should be within the specs if even Intel runs for this.
