cputemp

A Windows tool which directly reads the core temp(s) of Intel® Core and Intel® Core2 processors. It can log to a file, and it can start a batch file whenever those temperatures exceed a certain limit. Unlike other such programs, it doesn't guess Tjunction based on a table of known CPUs, but finds out Tjunction itself by reading Bit 30 of MSR 0xEE ("1"=85°C, "0"=100°C).
Also, contains Core2MaxPerf which maximizes processor load on all cores to reach the highest possible temperature on those CPUs (similar to Intel® TAT (Thermal Analysis Tool)). Although, tools like OCCT (OCCT Website) may be better for that task due to their ability to detect errors in the heating process.
