I have just assembled my HTPC. On my motherboard, Asus P5N7A-VM I have a Intel E8400 cooled by a Shuriken.

I have Qfan enabled, but after XP has started, the fan sits there not starting.

It does make a small repetitive movement, as if it want sto start, but just not does it.

It is connected to the 4-pin CPU-fan connector.

I have searched the web for info, but can not find any good information on this combination.

For OS I use TinyXP rev.09. a slim Xp version, but with complete driverpack and SP3 I believe.

please advise?
