My Asus P5K Dlx is reporting fan errors for all fans dropping below 550-500 rpm. As I am running Slipstream 500 fans only I had to ignore/disable all warnings.
As the BIOS doesn't know the fans diameter and only checks the pure rpm these errors appear. The Intel boxed cooler with its small fan diameter needs much more rpm to move the same amount of air.
For your Asus board the alarm values for rpm seem to be even higher than with my board.
