I see. Thanks for clarification. Unfortunately some motherboard manufacturers nowadays do not want to support fan regulation for 3pin FANs.
For my MB I had to exchange emails for more than week and explaining to them that only a simple bios fix will enable the fan regulation for 3 pin FANs.
It was only after I said that I was a computer science student have they send me the bios which works with a 3pin CPU FAN connector.
I also heard that newer Gigabyte motherboards are the same.
Do you know why the mobo manufacturers are reluctant to support 3 pin CPU FAN connectors for fan regulations?
