The problem is that the data already present on the disk cannot be accessed correctly because of the reported corrupt file system. The file system is immediately corrupted when the disk is connected through the Kama Connect 2. So the problem seems to be even more fundamental than an erroneous file copy. How can it be possible that KC2 accesses the disk in a way that corrupts the file system?

The fact that the file system is corrupt, is not changed by doing a file copy CRC check...
