not a problem at all..I have actually noticed that my Floppy drive cable that connects from the floppy drive to the motherboard looks like it could be faulty as it is split between the wires (no bare wire showing just split casing) and the cable is twisted then inserted into the plug..ie a manufacturing fault..Do you think this could be the problem rather than the drive itself?
