Hi guys..Having a little problem with the YD-8V08 Floppy drive with 18 in 1 card reader..

I have slotted the drive into a bay and connected my Floppy 34 pin cable to the drive and other end to the Motherboard and I have also connected the USB mini B/USB A cable cable one end into the little USB minib port on the underside of the floppy drive and the other end (USB A) into a USB 2.0 port on my machine..

now..The card reader is working fine..I have all my card reader slots working.. but my Floppy disk slot is not working.. and the whole YD-8V08 drive is making a loud very annoying buzzing sound..

Any Ideas on how to get my floppy disk drive working and get rid of that buzzing noise?

I have not connected the USB header pin cable.. I assumed that this cable is optional and you can use either 1 of the two USB cables supplied.. is this true or do both cables need to be plugged in?
