There should be no real problem I guess. How do you read the temps? Some tools are reading it using the thermal sensor close to the cores. If you get closer to the heat source, the temps increase automatically and change faster depending on the core(s). Some tools also read the temps different with different versions.
Did you try to mount the CPU Cooler 90° or 180° turned? The contact to the IHS could be better or worse that way. AMD IHS are usually flat so I am not sure if this will have any effect.
