Hello again,
jasee: I'd like to thank you for your suggestions and your help in first place. Unfortunately I didn't made it on time to mention the problem and there are just too many Mobos. So here comes a briefly answer.
There capacitor problem is something we can not affect that much, adjusting all the models will cost a lot due to tooling and if we make it too complicated, it will be too expensive on the market. It is all about compromises. It would take too long to explain but I put it in short: We care about compatibility a lot, that is why we are running this forum, reacting on users feedback as much as possible and try to solve compatibility issues. Yet thanks for the feedback, it is not wasted
Serge: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3-R and -P seem to have pretty much the same layout. Katana 2 should be compatible to both motherboards, my rating would be 90% compatibility.
hitech: Asus P5GD1 looks like it should have not much trouble. The capacitors are my only concern, in most cases they cause no problems, but you never know. I'd say 90% compatible, rest is up to ASUS to solver the capacitors not too high =)
