Do I have to use a FDD cable (would be bad, cause my MB ASUS P7P55d has no fdd controller...)? Or is it enough, if I have just the internal usb connection and the power cable. Can someone please tell me detailed, how I should connect everything...? And concerning the last post:

Can you please explain, how THAT should work? What do I have to do in Detail...?

Thanks for your support... :-)

Had same issue ... on newer motherboards (mine is MSI ) the BIOS default is "NO Floppy" go into your sytem bios and enable the FDD and see if that works..
P.S. ( OOPS re-read your message, if floppy is not supported on Motherboard specs, your out of Luck..)
