Kaze Flex 120

Based on the highly praised Kaze Flex PWM fans, which are already used in the multi-award-winning Mugen 5 CPU cooler, a complete stand-alone fan series is now available. Thanks to the unique Sealed Precision FDB bearing, the fans run particularly smoothly and have a long service life of over 120 000 hours. Decouplers installed in the fan frame minimize the transmission of vibrations and thus ensure a pleasantly low operating noise. Due to the good coordination of the individual models, the Kaze Flex 120 fans are suitable for use as case fans or for active ventilation of CPU coolers. Three different models with 800, 1200 or 2000 rpm cover a wide range of applications from “Silent” to “High Performance”. To make mounting on CPU coolers and in PC cases easier and to increase compatibility, the fans are equipped with mounting holes without tunnels. The connection cable of the Kaze Flex 120 mm fans is carefully sleeved and with a length of 50 mm it is optimally dimensioned for most applications. In addition to four fastening screws, the scope of delivery also includes a 3-pin to 4-pin adapter for direct connection to the power supply unit.

Sealed Precision FDB

In order to guarantee an exceptionally high level of stability and durability, the fans from the Kaze Flex Series are equipped with a self-contained fluid dynamic bearing (Sealed Precision FDB). The bearing and the spindle are made entirely of high quality compressed metal and lubricated by a special oil film resistant to temperatures of up to 250C° / 480F°. This drastically reduces friction, ensuring smooth operation and minimized wear, which results in an average life-span of 120 000 hours.

Integrated Anti-Vibration Sytem

The Kaze Flex fan series is equipped with vibration- and shock absorbing rubber pads which cover the tunnelless mounting holes. These decouplers effectively eliminate possible vibrations and allow low-noise operation.
