The prime mission for the Scythe Kodati was to be as low-slung as possible, having mini-ITX mainboards, extremely narrow  cases such has HTPCs as well as self-configured NAS systems in its' sight for a "new home". With this in mind, an only 34 mm in height, extremely compact heatsink left the "developer's quarters" at Scythe. The 10 mm high fan found space below the cooling fins - its' humble size making this possible. The PWM-regulated fan provides stable and reliable cooling of processors with a TDP of up to 65 watts. Mounting the Kodati is done without a black plate, increasing compatibility as possible interference with electronic components on the rear side of the mainboard can be avoided.

Please note that the Scythe Kodati is approved for 65w TDP when used with PWM-regulation. When used unregulated (at maximum fan speed), cooling of processors up to 88 TDP is possible.

Extremely Flat Design
With just 34 mm in height, the Kodati is ideal for doing its' job in cases with very limited space, frequently encountered in Mini-ITX cases. Where other models would be hopelessly stranded, the Kodati fits in just nicely.


Compact Dimensions
Thanks to the Kodati's reserved dimensions, exisiting PCI-e slots will not be blocked, hence allowing the use of separate graphic as well as other add-on cards. Possible collisions with mainboard components or heatsinks are kept to a minimum.



S.F.M.S. (Stealth Fan Mounting Structure)
The fan is "hiding" underneath the fin structure- saving space and so realising the extrem low height of only 34 mm.



E.I.S. (Easy Installation with Screw)
As the Kodati is screwed on directly without a back plate, possible incompatibilites when installing can be ruled out as a back plate / components collision is out of the question - a scenario often encountered with Mini-ITX mainboards where for reasons of limited space the backside is often used to house various components.
